The acceptance of applications for additional prescribing authorization (APA) will reopen as planned on March 30, 2023. As communicated previously, ACP is changing our internal procedures for APA application submissions. What’s important is that the process and requirements for applicants have not changed. However, processing applications will be significantly delayed in the coming months due to the number of applications received prior to the February 28, 2023, cut-off date. ACP received approximately the same number of applications in the few weeks prior to that date than were received in all of 2022, so it will take some time for the backlog to clear. We appreciate your understanding during this busy time.
